I keep hearing that Mythic isn letting a lot of new people into the beta! Why?
Over the next few months the plan is to gradually increase the number of invitations we send out, and therefore the number of closed beta participants. The plan has always been to allow a greater number of people once all the core systems are in the game in one form or another. Large scale and prolonged beta testing of an MMO without all the core systems would be pointless and frustrating for the testers. Remember, we are getting to the point where we want a lot of people to be able to play the game continuously and experience everything that WAR has to offer, even if it is still a little rough around the edges.
