I like the ability to retrieve station data from callbook CDs, but I would prefer to be able to retrieve it directly from their internet sites (QRZ.COM, Buckmaster..). Is there some way to do it?
You can do it if you are a subscriber of QRZ.COM Premium Services. “Free access” to callbook data directly from their internet pages is not going to be implement for now because of legal restrictions (the owners of those callbooks want you to buy the CD or at least watch the advertising in their WEB pages…). Anyway there is “DLL Interface to Online callbook server” available at http://www.xmission.com/~toms/software/ that has been reported to work with VQLog. IMPORTANT: If you decide to use that DLL remember you are doing it at your own risk. VQLog.com is not responsible for it use and declines all liability for the possible illegal use of internet callbooks through that DLL.
