Generally the oral measurement should require no more than 4 seconds. Please note that the measurement continuous until there is no more temperature increase! If during measurement the mouth is opened, the measurement may take longer. If the mouth is extraordinarily cold before measurement (ice break), the measurement may take longer than 4 seconds Take care to position the tip correctly in one of the sublingual pockets!
