I often bookmark stories I find on projo.com, but when I go back to the story a week later, I get a “file not found” error or a different story. Whats wrong?
Most news stories only stay on projo.com for up to three days to seven days before they are removed from the Web site and no longer available for viewing. The exceptions may be archived collections for special reports, series and other special collections of information. If you are looking for a specific story that appeared online and can no longer access it, you can try searching our archives. The archives section houses staff-written Providence Journal stories back to 1983. The address for the archives site is: http://pqasb.pqarchiver.com/projo/search. The archives may also include Journal staff-written stories that were not selected for publication on projo.com, but did appear in the newspaper.
