This problem is due to a timeout that occurs between ProMax and its internal database. To remedy this problem, increase the default timeout for this process. BR&E has created a VBScript program that can be used to increase the timeout. Simply download the program from our website using this link and execute it using an account with administrative privileges. A message box will be displayed once the timeout has been successfully increased. By default, the timeout will be changed to 60 seconds. This value can be changed using a “/timeout:” command line option if required. While we do not anticipate this to be a common problem, some users, especially those with limited hardware resources may experience this timeout. Additionally, systems with several running programs may also experience this error.
