Brio (or “Hyperion,” which is the correct name now after the buyout) is the reporting tool that UNM has selected to provide reporting from the Banner system and very, very few users will end up having to pay for it as described here: First, our own developers will be using this tool to create those standard reports mentioned above. You will have free access to those reports using the web version of Hyperion. The bottom line is that there will be no cost to the departments for simply viewing the standard reports. ( IMPORTANT: This web-enabled Hyperion tool currently will work only in a Windows 2000 or XP environment.) This web-based Hyperion tool will also allow trained users (who will be known as ” analyzers ” ) to create their own ad hoc reports from the Banner data.
