If you want to use a separate domain name (i.e. “anotherdomain.com”) then yes, the domain name needs to be registered, and domain registration fees will apply. Please visit our Domain Registration Services FAQ for further information. If you want to use a third-level name (i.e. “mychoice.mydomain.com”), then this does not need to be registered, so is not subject to domain registration fees.
