Before you can administer the fowl pox vaccine you must mix the dried vaccine powder with a liquid to reconstitute the vaccine. When you purchase the vaccine, you receive two vials and an injection needle. One vial contains the powdered vaccine and the other vial contains a special liquid diluent. The liquid is not water but a special solution prepared especially for this purpose. Just prior to vaccinating the birds, remove the seals and rubber stoppers from both vials and pour the liquid into the vial containing the powder. Replace the rubber stopper into the vial containing the liquid/vaccine mixture and shake the contents thoroughly. After a minute or two you can use this mixture for vaccinating the birds.
