To copy a colored URL (or part of one), hold down the Command key and drag to select it. (You must drag; if you simply click, Mailsmith will select the URL and open it.) Once selected, you can copy the URL to the clipboard using the Copy command. Note that you can also drag an entire URL (for example, to the Finder in order to create a clipping) by the usual gesture of holding the mouse down on the selected text and dragging it. If a colored URL is not selected, you can still drag it without selecting it first; just click and hold briefly, then start dragging.
