You don’t need 2 vga cards to have the sequencer detached in Reason 2. Just make sure you have 2 monitors which are up and running. There are videocards which support 2 monitors like the Matrox g550 and the Gforce videocards. When you have it up and running you just stretch out Reason across both monitors and detach the sequencer. Now you can place it where you want. The use of 2 videocards (1 AGP and 1 PCI) is not recommended. The video bandwidth will be so high that there will be little left over for the soundcard.
