Building a true emulator for DragonBall is not easy because most of the internal CPU signals are not brought out to the external pins to minimize product cost and chip size. However, you can use the available source level debuggers to directly debug your target system rather than using our ADS. Their functions are very similar to using an emulator. The available debug monitors are SDS and Microtek’s SLD. SDS is a very mature debug tool. You can build and load its firmware in the target system ROM/Flash and do the debugging the same way using our ADS would. The only thing you need is an SDS supported serial port in your target system (SDS does not support DragonBall serial port). The other option is to use Microtek’s SLD source level debugger. It comes with our ADS board. We can help you to build the monitor firmware stored in your system ROM/Flash and use DragonBall’s UART for debug port. For the early h/w debug phase, BBUG running at bootstrap mode is very useful. 22. Do you have a co
