Real Madrid’s 9 European championships include the first 5, at a time when football wasn’t ruled by money. It’s hard to understand why a team consisting of mainly foreign nationals is seen as representing England – though Chelsea, to be fair to them, are rather better in this respect (having at least Lampard, Terry and the Coles) than many Arsenals I could mention. everybody who doesnt support that team is jealous of the success that a succesful side gains…every team whoever wins the big trophys is a buyer of success, chelsea are no different…i think wot really upsets people with chelsea is that they are not a traditional big club & the likes of man utd, liverpool, arsenal etc dont like it as they now have a real financial powerhouse to contend with when they have had it all their own way for so long…its also worse for them knowing that roman has cash legally pledged into the club even if he should ever decide to walk away…so there is no chance of the club ever going bankrupt…believe me people, within the next 8 to 10 years u will see the biggest monster the world of football has ever created…& me, as a chelsea fan of many years, after watching my beloved blues home & away on a regular basis during the 80s & 90s, all i can say to u all who dont like it is…tough…live with it…us chelsea fans will take any success we can get as us
