If cropland is enrolled into an EQIP contract that includes structural practices, at what point is the land eligible for CSP?
All planned structural practices must be installed by the end of the CSP sign-up for the land to be eligible. The land would be eligible for CSP once the resource concerns have been addressed and the criteria for the CSP Soil and Water Eligibility Tool have been met. The applicant would also be required to have two years of records to support the cropland management system that is documented in the benchmark inventory.
