If Zeus was always sleeping with mortals and other gods, why didn Hera kick him out?
Because of several factors, one of which being that Zeus is very charming and regularly brings her gifts of flowers and chocolate…. Actually, according to some scholars the stories of Zeus “having affairs” can actually be traced to when the Hellenic tribes (who worshiped Zeus) were integrating themselves into the pre-existing Helladic peoples (who were primarily matrifocal) and Zeus “married” all of the local tribal Goddesses. In this theory, Hera became “Queen of the Gods” during the Mycenean period when that tribe — whose Goddess was Hera — gained political prominence. This theory is not commonly accepted anymore, but it does provide a coherant theory to explain this.
