Im about to pay $360.00 to have my clothes dryer venting replaced. Should I just buy a new dryer instead?
If the dryer venting is stopped up and has wholes in it then your new dryer will not work either. I just bought my 4 th dryer in 10 years and it went out actually just blew a fuse. Finally someone told me if I have not cleaned that vent out there is no air circulating then I am waisting my time. My dryer vent was so stopped up I could not believe it what a mess. Why would a builder build a house and snake that venting like that it could not blow it out of the house. We fixed it and clothes dry in 45 minutes now wow. Now I just have to clean the venting out about 1 a year. P S I did not replace mine just cleaned it out! Good Luck!
