Im crossgrading from iListen. Should I uninstall iListen before installing Dictate?
It is not necessary to uninstall iListen before installing Dictate, but you may if you wish to free up hard drive space. [Back To Top] • After I installed the latest update to Dictate, the program won’t launch. If you have installed the latest update for Dictate, and the program does not work afterwards, try the following: • Quit MacSpeech Dictate • Put the MacSpeech Profiles folder in the Trash (located in Home/Documents) • Empty the Trash • Relaunch Dictate [Back To Top] • When I install Dictate and go to create a profile, the options are grayed out for the program. This can occur if the program attempts to check for and download an update when the program is first launched, and the Update window is hidden. The solution is to move the main window, close the Update window, then create the profile. [Back To Top] • Are there any Firewire microphones/headsets available for use with Dictate? There are no FireWire devices that are MacSpeech certified for use with Dictate. [Back To Top] • W
