You cannot view pre-encoded content in the Input window in the following situations: you are capturing a screen; you are using the deinterlacing feature with AVI or MPEG files; or you are converting a Windows Media file with a .wmv or .asf file name extension and the file has the same properties as the output. You cannot view encoded output when you are using the screen capture feature or an uncompressed profile, or when you are converting a Windows Media file with a .wmv or .asf file name extension and the file has the same properties as the output.
