In SilverFast > Options > Special what do I need the selection box “color filter” for?
With this box you select the colour, which you wish the scanner to ignore during monochrome scans. Where the option “white” means no colour is ignored. Selecting a colour here means that the different intensities of this colour will all set to just one value. Details in this colour channel are compensated.
