In the battle with Razors Kiss, Zsinj got really toasted by General Solo when Zsinj had a ship advantage. Whats up with that?
Zsinj did have an edge in ships, certainly, but lost due to tactics, circumstances, and the fog of war, all of which kept him from bringing his full strength to bear on his intended targets. The Zsinj/Solo battle was inspired by the World War II battle of Midway, a naval engagement at which the Japanese had far greater strength than the U.S. — and yet the U.S. won, for the same reasons.
