Installation on Windows fails with a message about QTJava or QuickTime. What now?
Sometimes, when QuickTime (or iTunes) is installed before Java, the QuickTime installer does not install a Java library called QTJava.zip. Due to license restrictions we cannot ship this library with beaTunes. Therefore our installer checks during installation, whether QTJava.zip is properly installed. If it isn’t, it will show an error message and abort installation. To fix this issue, quit iTunes, QuickTime and beaTunes. Uninstall QuickTime, download a fresh version from Apple, and install the new version. Then install beaTunes. If the installation still fails, contact beaTunes support.
