Invisalign braces, how much does a course of treatment cost and how long does the treatment take?

I recently finished using Invisalign braces. Mine took 15 months and cost £4500, but I think they can be anywhere between £3000-£7000 depending on how much your teeth need to move, and how many aligners you need. Afterwards you wear a clear retainer for about 3 months full time, then gradually decreasing. There are lots of benefits over regular braces, other than the most obvious one! They are less painful, and you only have to visit every 6 weeks (4 with regular). There are a couple of downsides – you have to remove them for eating, and you need to be vigilant about putting them back in quickly and cleaning the aligners and your teeth. It can be awkward eating out, but I always managed. You’ll also be more prone to bad breath – saliva sits inside the aligner while you’re wearing it and goes yukky. All things considered, I’d recommend invisalign over regular braces, any day.
