Last week Apple approved its first BitTorrent app. But it turns out that Apple didn’t intend to allow torrent apps. Instead, the developer avoided the term “torrent client” in the app description, temporarily evading rejection. When Apple became aware of the app’s capabilities, it removed the app from the App Store.
