Is accommodation provided by the University of Essex?
The accommodation for the 2009/10 academic year will be provided in private sector landlord properties housing between 3 and 9 students in each house. This accommodation will be jointly managed between the private sector provider and the university. You will be able to apply directly to the university and the university will allocate you to a house and your contract will be with the university. The deadline for the application guarantees for university managed accommodation is Friday 14 August 2009. Applications will be accepted after this time but university managed accommodation may not be available. If all university accommodation is full you will be notified upon processing of your application.
