Sorry to be flip so early on a Saturday morning, but I’m still only on my first cup of coffee. I would like to discuss the difference between going green versus creating a new fear based religion with Gaia as our Goddess, which has nothing to do with going green rather is fully based on creating a new system of control and lots of revenue via indulgences (taxes/subsidies). My quick comment on religion is that the US is not a theocracy and people are fully entitled to follow any given religion or not follow any religion at all. I personally have no desire to adhere to Gaia or her environmental dogma. Going green makes a great deal of sense towards protecting the environment, natural security reasons, reducing the trade imbalance and towards promoting a new high paying alt energy technology sector in the US. Most of us (based on the points in the preceding paragraph) can agree that going green is a very good thing and the problem with the Gaia (Gore) plan is that it will not lead to gree
