Is an email address required to register my computer in the SecureNet program to enroll?
A. An email address is not required to register your computer in the SecureNet program. However, as with your entire Online Banking relationship, a current email address is required so that we may communicate with you including but not limited to: providing temporary passcode to conduct Online Banking from an unregistered computer, providing account statements, sending regulatory disclosures and other notices, alerting you to potential fraud related to your accounts, etc. REMINDER: The Provident Bank will never ask you to provide personal information in any email that we send (such as your account number, Social Security Number or password).
