Is anybody aware of any RFID Gen2 chip that would allow write access to the TID field?
The TID field is the unique identifier of the chip, and thus is not writeable, so as to ensure uniqueness accross all of the chip vendors worldwide. Like a serial number version of UPC/EAN codes, a portion of the code is reserved to identify the chip producer, and they must serialize the chips to ensure uniqueness. Allowing write-access to the field would compromise the basic premise of tag uniqueness.
