Is anyone else tempted to give sarcastic answers to questions?

Gee. Let me think. Yes. Sometimes the questions I read are interesting and deserve good answers but sometimes I see a question that makes me want to reach through my computer screen and throttle the person asking such a lame question. But alas, I have to be careful or I could lose my precious quest coins. Some people are so touchy. I once lost a bunch of points because I gave my opinion about Battlestar Galactica. Go figure.

At first I even posted some. Lately, though, I’ve been using the discussion boards to drop in snarky comments, free from the risk of bad ratings and coin loss. Heh. Early on there was a question “What’s the best game console for a 6-month old” — obvious to me it was a sarcastic question, so I felt safe answering “Original XBox because the controllers are small and you can play Grand Theft Auto”. I got a kick out of it. Sometimes it can be hard to tell if a question is asked in earnest, but usually it’s pretty clear whether a snarky answer will be embraced or shunned. I’m tempted to pick up that superpower that lets me rate answers, too — that way I can berate people with stupid answers without actually putting anything on the line! Heh.
