Is BrowserKey just user authentication technology?
No, BrowserKey is much more advanced and by itself does not make any attempt to recognize individual users. BrowserKey authenticates based on the connecting client machine (such as a personal computer). Because a user is usually initiating the authentication of a client machine, it is easy to think of this process as user authentication, but it is not.
