Is Clarity the same as Niku?
Prior to being acquired by CA in August 2005, Niku Corporation, based in Redwood City, California, developed and marketed Clarity. Founded in 1998, Niku was the first company to provide an enterprise class Professional Services Automation (PSA) application. In 1999 and 2000, Niku acquired ABT (with 20 years experience in Project Management software) and Proamics (with 15 years experience in Project Accounting software) to incorporate their industry-leading solutions into the existing product offering.
