Is electric supercharger worth it?
In order to create extra horsepower, you have to put pressurized air into the intake manifold. What you are considering is placing a small electric fan that would feed air into your manifold. This has no way of actually building pressure. Imagine that you took a HUGE household box fan and taped over the output side of it – the fan would still turn and the air would just blow out the back… if it built pressure like a supercharger – it would cause the turbines to stop or it would explode. The motor on your car is a functioning air pump that draws air with far more force than you could provide with a fan. Your best bet is finding a remote turbo system that you can install yourself.
