Yes, it is a core area. There will be an article on this subject in a future in Student Accountant. The article will address changes in financial reporting that have affected EVA calculations and will explain in detail what is expected of candidates as a result. In the meantime, calculations will be kept to simple uncontroversial adjustments. Please see previous technical articles on EVA for examples.
