Friction is desirable. Without it, you couldn’t walk. Cars couldn’t go (no friction between the tire & road). Cars couldn’t stop. You wouldn’t be able to use a normal grasp to pick up a can of 7-Up or beer. Sex wouldn’t feel the way it does (friction between bodies). There are times when people want to minimize friction (ball bearings, sliding a box up a ramp, skiing, etc), but they still want some friction. Go Bears!
