Is Granite or marble good for kitchen countertop?

0

Marble is easy to scratch and is affected by acidic substances. But this is not same with granite. Marble is suggested for fireplaces, bathroom vanity tops and Jacuzzi tops. After diamond granite is considered second in hardness. Its polished surface is not subject to staining by acids such as vinegars, ketchup etc. It can not be scratched by knives. By hot pots and pans it can not be etched easily.
