To both. The site is a substantial resource that provides content for AS/A Modern History specification units as well as student-based study skills for them. The GCSE Resource bank provides content for courses and, particularly, for pupils undertaking semi-independent student-centred coursework. The articles on the site were commissioned from topic specialists and vocabulary and expression is carefully tuned to be accessible to GCSE Grade A to B or C pupils as well, of course, to their teachers.
