Is it illegal to download free music onto my PC?
See i thought it wasnt the downloading bit that was that illegal that it was the sharing because you are uploading n people are using ur ip to download hmm i have had a letter from the BPI warning me that i can get fined heavily if i keep downloading/uploading but they caught me using torrents which i cant stop from sharing but on limewire i have stopped it from sharing anything so im using that atm n seeing what happens because i have uploaded about 36gb of torrents without even knowing it (checked the other day i was like :O) so i dont really know if its that or the downloading part :S but limewire is more likely to infect ur pc because u cant really see the user whereas on torrent sites it tells u if the uploader is legit and trustworthy.
