A/ No, Ultraseal works with tubed as well as tubeless tyres. Also, with tubes you can continue to get the benefit of Ultraseal in subsequent sets of tyres. A tubes thickness, strength, elasticity and reliability is unpredictable. If your bike requires tubes in the tyres, be sure to use radial tubes. The initially cost may be slightly more, however, the savings and reliability is slightly increased. By installing Ultraseal into a tube, the problem of punctures can be reduced. The seal in a tube is not permanent, but most bikers with tubes containing Ultraseal, know that they may not suffer a deflation whilst the bike is in motion because of centrifugal forces. Tubes squirm inside a tyre at high speeds. If the puncturing object is left in the tyre and tube, it may rip the tube. Then even Ultraseal may not be able to help. We recommend that nails be removed on a routine basis and the tyres air pressure be maintained at maximum PSI to reduce the squirming.
