Is it mandatory to use the uniform assigned name for claims administrators and representatives?

Yes. If your firm or organization’s name exists in the database it must be used. If you are a claims administrator or representative and your firm or organization’s name is NOT in the database, you need to register promptly. See the UAN main page for instructions on doing this. The use of uniform assigned names associates parties to the EAMS cases correctly and uniformly, thus avoiding unnecessary delays.
