Is it normal for a ptatient to have swelling face and eyes after hair transplant?

It is entirely normal to have some post procedure forehead swelling, sometimes affecting the eyes and cheeks too. Everyone is different – some people get no swelling, some get lots. It tends to be worse on first procedures, second or third sessions seem to be better. Also, we now routinely add low dose steroid to the local anaesthetic, which seems to help. It usually occurs by day 2 but is fast disappearing by day 5.
