Is it possible for behavior and general disposition to change with the seasons?

Yes, very often this is true; for instance, many people are affected by a condition known as S.A.D., Seasonal Affective Disorder, where the normal cyclic seasonal response differences border or tend into dysfunctional. I, personally, find myself getting depressed due to the shortening of the days, not so much due to the low temperature. Countries where there are deeper & longer periods of short/no daylight tend to have higher suicide rates; there are even “community sun rooms” where people can go, with bright lights, games, & activities to boost morale & help reduce the symptoms of reduced daylight. In earlier history, such negativity was attributed to evil spirits & the Pagan festivities held around the Winter Solstice (now morphed into “Christmas”) were designed to boost morale & chase away the evil spirits & lure the Sun God back. Amazingly, it’s always worked! If you’re affected by this, either buy or build a “sunbox”or “lightbox” which is just a way to collect the light of several

It is definitely possible. Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) is common, especially in places like Alaska where there is much, much less sunlight during the winter. To treat SAD, light therapy is often used to trick the body into believing there is sunshine. Also, there have been studies that have shown people are happier when they are see or are around more plants and nature in generally, i.e. someone living in a basement apartment may be more depressed than someone living in a flat with a view of a garden. Seriously, buy a houseplant or something to bring more nature into your life. Finally, as you grow more depressed in the winter time, your diet and exercise habits probably worsen. A proper diet and regular exercise may also help to lift your spirits.
