i have a honda civic si 2000 its a stick but i want to change it to a automatic i want to know how much it will cost me to do so and what kind of Transmissions do i need…is it possible to change my honda civic si 2000 into a automatic… A: Sure. All you need to do is buy a 2000 or similar model year Civic Si that already has an automatic transmission. Then you need to remove the transmission, ECU, complete wirting harness, CV shafts, mounts, shifter assembly, center console, pedal assembly and brake master cylinder and transfer all of these into your current car – after removing the existing tranny of course. Or you could just sell the manual tranny car and buy one with an automatic. It will cost substantially less, the car will have resale value (which your Frankenstein won’t) and it will be reliable to boot.
