Yes. An option named “Default type” added in the General tab of the project options (Tools > Options) allows the user to choose a predefined type (int, real, bool, char, string) or . The chosen type will be assigned by default to all new I/O, variables or constants. If the user chooses as default type, the _null type will be assigned by default to all new I/O, variables or constants.
