Is it possible to dissolve the K.f.t and cancel the ‘Residence Permit’ if I can get a ‘Work Permit’ while I am in Hungary?

Yes. Legally it’s possible. However, there are numerous ‘advantages’ of holding the ‘Hungarian K.f.t’ and ‘Residence Permit’ even if you obtain a ‘Work Permit’ or until obtaining the ‘Permanent Residence Permit’. The ‘Hungarian K.f.t’ entitles you to obtain the ‘Residence Permit’. The Hungarian Residence Permit entitles you to legally ‘live, work, study and do business’ in Hungary. But, a Hungarian ‘Work Permit’ does not entitle you to the ‘same’ legal rights as a Hungarian Residence Permit. The Work Permit holder must only work for the employer who has sponsored the Work Permit. If the ‘Work Permit’ is cancelled or if the ‘Work Permit’ holder made redundant, the ‘Work Permit’ holder must find a ‘new job’ and obtain a new ‘Work Permit’ within 28 days to remain ‘legally’ in Hungary. Otherwise, the ‘Work Permit’ holder must leave Hungary to avoid possible deportation and ‘visa ban’ by the Hungarian immigration police. Also, the ‘dependant’ of a ‘Work Permit’ holder is not allowed to work
