Yes, it is possible to fit the inner shroud plates to the outside of the hull, but remember this could interfere with carrying a large genoa/drifter. If it is not already too late for you to make this change, have you thought of using the Tiki type wingsail rig? There is now a drawing available for this for the Pahi 31.
