Is it possible to order a bridesmaid at a different bridal shop with the same exact color?
If you’re worried about even a slight color variation, I’d order with the rest of the girls. All the dresses are made at once from the same fabric so the “dye lot” should be exactly the same. I’ve never found there to be a massive difference in dye lot, but one never knows. Also, all of David’s Bridal’s dresses are made exclusively for the chain(under the David’s Brand) so finding the exact same dress at a local retailer would be, in my understanding, impossible. You might find similar, but not identical. I think it’s awesome that you’re actively trying to support a local retailer and support your friend the bride at the same time. I wish all bridesmaids were as level headed and supportive. If it makes you feel any better, for ever horror story I’ve heard about David’s I’ve heard as many good experiences, as well. Good luck!
