Is it possible to share television programs between two DVRs from different manufacturers?
In your case it will not be possible. You can network your Tivo series 2 to your homes computer network but not the DirecTV DVR at this time. Now that said, IF you have a DirecTV Tivo then you can do some software modifications so that it can be networked to your homes computer network also. What you are asking about is called MRV for MultiRoom Viewing and is ONLY possible with a Tivo or a DirecTV Tivo that has been modified.
