Is it possible to take multiple math classes at the same time?

Lower division math courses are typically sequential so you’re right in that you can’t take one above another. Upper division courses are not necessarily this way, however, so once you’ve completed differential equations (Calc IV) you have good course options available to you. Unless you’re a math, engineering, or physics major this probably isn’t the type of courses you would take anyway though.
