Is it safe to eat chicken that was accidently defrosted and then frozen again?

I would go ahead and eat the chicken but not the fish. Fish spoils easily so I would throw that out. As for chicken, if that happens again, just prepare the chicken by grilling it or boiling it. Then you can make chicken salad out of it the next day instead of refreezing. I do that all the time.

I wouldn’t eat it unless it had been cooked before being frozen again, same thing for most food stuffs.

No, you shouldn’t eat any food that this has happened to, except maybe bread.

no, its not safe. The only time you can refreeze raw chicken, meat or fish is if you cook it, then freeze it.

No unsafe to eat anything which has been defrosted and refrozen. Claim it on your house insurance.
