The use of ozone purifiers at residential level is not safe if its use exceeds a certain level. The maximum safe residential level is 0.05 parts per million (PPM) and occupational exposure at 0.10 PPM for short periods. Its use can create serious threats for asthma sufferers. Apart from that, infants, children, and older people are more sensitive to ozone.
