Is it safe to wear compression garment after tummy tuck for longer than 6 weeks?

I can’t think of a reason why if wouldn’t be safe to wear a compression garment for longer than 6 weeks. As a matter of fact, the longer the better. I probably wore mine constantly for the first 3 months, then intermittently thereafter. I still wear it occasionally to bed at night after I eat a big meal.
