Is Jamaica a safe place to vacation outside the tourist resorts?
Yes it can be as long as you don’t let your guard down and act like an airheaded tourist that is flashing money and jewelry. There are good and bad people anywhere u go (including your hometown) and if you run into a smooth talking Jamaican, just beware and don’t be a fool or be fooled. They can talk you into anything…..so just be a smart tourist and don’t trust just anyone……or you will be had. Don’t smoke too much weed and you will have a good head on your shoulders to realize good from bad……
